Keeneland Kentucky Each April and October, Keeneland hosts some of the finest Thoroughbred racing in the world. The Toyota Blue Grass Stakes, an important Kentucky Derby prep race for 3-year-olds is run annually in April. This fall, Keeneland's racing dates are October 10-31 (Mondays and Tuesdays excluded). Post time is 1:10 p.m. A schedule of fall stakes races is available. With the Breeders' Cup Championship in Louisville this November, you can bet some of the best horses in the world will use Keeneland's races as a final preparation. We are pleased to offer racing enthusiasts a list of post times and wagering formats, entries two days out, program changes and track conditions, workouts, summary results, daily charts, statistics, program information, and the live race call from Kurt Becker, our track announcer. Tattersalls & The Red Mile Kentucky The Red Mile's spectacular two-week "Championship Meet" came to its conclusion Friday, October 9 with the 106th renewal of the Kentucky Futurity. Muscles Yankee's Triple Crown attempt was foiled by Trade Balance in an exciting three-heat event! Record purses were distributed during this fall's racing program, which attracted horsemen and women from around the globe. Our Late Closers added to the great racing, as they attracted quality horses from top stables again this year. The Red Mile also had a very successful Spring Meet with a 27% increase in wagering on live racing and imported simulcasts, and a 7% increase in on-track attendance!
