Freehold    New Jersey    Located in central New Jersey in the historic town of Freehold, Freehold Raceway was established in 1853 and features live Standardbred harness races for trotters and pacers ten months of the year from August through May. The racetrack is also open seven days a week and six nights (excluding Monday evenings) for year round thoroughbred and harness racing simulcasts from tracks throughout North America.  We have free admission every afternoon, seven days a week.There is also free parking every evening for simulcasting and all day Sunday and Monday for simulcasting. Our schedule will be as follows: For March through May, we will have live racing five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and on Monday May 25th (Memorial Day).  Freehold's Fall meet will run from August 13th through December 31st. We will be racing five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, through November; except for the following days - Monday, September 7th (Labor Day) we will be open; Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, November 26th (Thanksgiving Day) we will be dark. During the month of December, we will have live racing four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday. We will also be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 23rd, 24th and 25th. Post time is 1:00.

Monmouth Park    New Jersey     By Car:  Take the Garden Stake Parkway to Exit 105 to Route 36 east. Follow signs to Monmouth Park. The NJ Turnpike connects with the Parkway at the Woodbridge interchange. Exit 11 on the Turnpike to Exit 7A to I-95 east to the Garden State Parkway north or Route 18 north. From Long Island or Brooklyn, take the Verrazano Bridge and Staten Island Expressway to the Outerbridge Crossing to the Garden State Parkway south to Exit 105.   By Train:  NJ Transit operates a special "Pony Express" train direct to Monmouth Park on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Board in New York, Hoboken, Newark, Elizabeth, Rahway, Perth Amboy or South Amboy. The "Pony Express" arrives in plenty of time for the first race and leaves 15 minutes after the last Monmouth Park race. Round-trip ticket price includes Grandstand admission. For more information call 1-800-626-RIDE.   By Boat:  Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays Express Navigation operates a special "Seahorse Express" cruise to Monmouth Park from Pier 11 in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Academy Terminal (BAT) at 58th Street in Brooklyn. Round-trip is only $25 per person and includes official track program and Grandstand admission.
