#18's Smokin's Bobby Labonte Fan Page As you can see, I am a Huge fan of NASCAR. My favorite driver, of course, is Bobby Labonte. My husband is the one to blame for my obsession with NASCAR. He got me started in 1989. At that time my favorite driver was Davey Allison. When Davey was killed, I really didn't have a favorite driver. It wasn't until 1996 that I began following Bobby. He caught my attention when he climbed out of his wrecked car at Bristol and kicked it. Another moment that really caught my attention was when he and Terry took the victory lap at Atlanta together. That moment really touched me and I knew then that these two were real class acts. I have been a Labonte fan ever since.

Bandit.com Our History - The domain name the-bandit.com came into existence in July of '97 to help give something back to the sport that I enjoy so much. But my NASCAR page came into existence in July of '95, two full years before I got the domain registered. It is quite obvious that I am a huge Ken Schrader fan and have been for a few years now. I have not been following Nascar closely as long as some of you have, simply because I did not have access to it. I am from Canada and grew up in the country with two television channels, neither of which televised Nascar on a regular basis. We usually got the Daytona 500 and maybe, the Firecracker 400, if we were lucky.

Sadler Racing Team History The 1998 racing season marks Sadler Racing's 15th year in racing. Earl Sadler was stricken with the "racing bug" when he witnessed his first stock car race on the beaches of Daytona. At that point, he was determined to one day own his own team. In 1984, "Mr. Earl's" dream came true as he and his son, Check, formed Sadler Racing to compete on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. Their first driver was non other than Sterling Marlin.
